Brendan has a 25 year career background in business management. He is principal of eqinox which specialises in strategic planning, business sales and acquisitions, feasibility, project management and modelling in the IT, renewable energy and electronics sectors. Brendan is a partner and director of SunPower Limited a solutions based renewable energy provider to business. His previous management roles include Manager of Strategic Planning for Sharp Corporation, CEO of Clone CMS, Marketing Manager of Konica Minolta NZ and Minolta NZ as well as serving as a company director with other business entities.
Brendan led a NZ design team in the business electronics sector, selling the design and technology to a Japanese corporate as well as NZ and Australia businesses. He has presented papers on related technologies, innovation, management and business development.
Appointed SEANZ chairman mid 2007 Brendan maintains a hands-on-role that encompasses leading the team, planning, lobbying, submissions, building industry partnerships and communications. He is committed to overseeing the development of SEANZ to build and galvinise a substantial industry focussed on small scale distributed and embedded generation in NZ. |
