Greg has worked in many areas of the electrical industry for 35 years, both in NZ and overseas. After finishing his apprenticeship he completed advanced trade certificate, he became a registered electrical inspector in 2003.
Greg is managing director of Hoskins Energy Systems which is ECANZ registered as both master electricians and as an Eco Smart electrical contracting company and is also a Phillips green switch contractor. Hoskins Energy Systems have specialised in the design, supply and installation of sustainable electricity systems for 17 years.
Greg is a member of CREIA (Central Region Electrical Inspectors Association) and is also the Wairarapa area ECANZ (Electrical Contractors Association of NZ) representative. Greg has recently written a Domestic Electrical Design book for the BRANZ sustainable building LEVEL series.
Greg joined the board in January 2010 and is responsible for the training, standards and the installers accreditation plan SEANZ has been implementing. He has also been appointed to the Australian and NZ EL042 standards committee. |
