After having worked in the freezing works, Ford Motor Company and Johnson and Johnson, Stuart moved to the South Island. Moving into Multi-trade project management for a number of years before returning to the tools with Renewable Solutions Ltd prior to the Canterbury earthquakes. Since that time having undertaken grid connected renewable energy installs for schools, camp grounds, lifestyle blocks a large amount of Renewable Solutions work involves Off Grid systems, as Stuart lives on a lifestyle property in North Canterbury which is powered by a Victron Off Grid system.
