EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra Retrofit Solution Case Study

This case study focuses on an existing off-grid system upgrade using the EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra (DPU) solution, transforming a complex, bulky, and broken setup into an integrated and efficient power system. The customer was experiencing system failures, complex wiring issues, and high maintenance costs with their legacy system.

The Solution: Integrated Efficiency

The retrofit centered around installing the EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra inverter and two associated batteries, providing a total capacity of 12 kWh. The new setup was integrated with existing components:

Existing Solar Panels: 4 x 220W panels were reused.

New Solar Panels: 3 x 455W panels were added for enhanced capacity.

Existing Generator: A 6kW generator was maintained for backup charging.

Key Features and Performance Data

The DPU system boasts several advanced features, including a 6900W AC output capable of running a 3-ton central air conditioner, automatic self-heating for cold temperatures (below 0°C), and smart app control.

Performance data after the retrofit showed approximately 2400W total solar input on a sunny day. This efficiency means the 12 kWh capacity can be fully recharged in around 4 hours, ensuring the entire household can rely on uninterrupted power for weeks.
