SEANZ 2019 | Tomorrow’s Energy Today is New Zealand's leading Sustainable Energy Conference, bringing together key players from across sectors and around the world who can lead the drive toward a resilient and 100% renewable energy system for New Zealand. The event will feature a comprehensive program of expert speakers including Minister of Energy and Resources, Hon Dr Megan Woods. The Minister and other keynote speakers will present on the future of sustainable energy with a focus on real-world solutions which answer the opportunities presented by the rapid movement to decentralisation in our energy system, decarbonisation, and digitalisation to manage the processes.

Potential topics should fall under one of the conference themes of digitalisation, decarbonisation, and decentralisation. Potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • Policy and regulation
  • Microgrids
  • Remote communities
  • Large-scale projects

Submission instructions:

  • Abstracts should pitch the topic of the intended presentation.
  • Abstracts should be original work and all copyright provisions must be met.
  • Each person may submit one abstract.
  • The abstract must be 150-400 words in plain text format with a clear, concise title.

  • Presentation will be selected based on relevance, engagement, originality and innovation.
    Important dates:

Abstract submission deadline: Wednesday 7th August at 5pm
Presentation submission deadline: Thursday October 31st at 5pm
Conference 2019: Friday 8th November in Wellington
