We are looking for a high-quality Project Manager to plan, execute, and effectively see projects through to completion.

Our projects are all over New Zealand, therefore you may be based in Taranaki or a location to be agreed. This is an on-site leadership role.

The Project Manager will report to the Director of Operations, who will provide close support and direction.
The role includes:

• Staff recruitment, induction, training and supervision
• Implementing and monitoring construction performance and productivity, closely following Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensuring the efficient and safe construction of the energy facility while meeting and maintaining installation quality and daily productivity standards
• Daily time reporting and weekly project performance reporting

What we are looking for:
• Experience - +5 years as a Project Manager on large scale (>50MW) solar projects
• Computer literate in excel, word, PowerPoint, MS Projects
• A competency in Lean, for applying structured problem-solving techniques
• Experience in working in a SME
• Had first hand experience in Project Managing a large scale Solar facility
• Project planning - MS Project experience
• Collaboration – with New Energy / Drillco / Customers / Subcontractors
• Financial acumen – budgets / forecasting / reporting / managing productivity / costs
• Teamwork – creating a high performing team
• Communication – Excellent communicator, written / verbal
• Time management – setting, driving and achieving deadlines
• Leadership – excellent leadership skills, professional, trustworthy, high integrity
• Organisation skills – being 100% organised, high quality planning skills, MS Project experience
• Negotiation skills – ability to successfully negotiate with staff and customers
• Problem solving – critical skills to look at issues, and implement continuous improvement
• Adaptability – we need to adapt throughout a project, make changes to improve safety, quality and productivity
• Conflict resolution – skills to resolve issues
• Personal skills – professional, high integrity, respected leader
