Bottled by the sun!

"It makes financial sense, but its also a great story"

That is the view of two sisters who have launched a solar-powered juice factory in Nelson.

The sisters have been recognised in Forbes' annual 30 Under 30 Asia list.

Florence Van Dyke, 29, and her sister Chloe Van Dyke bought a brewery in Nelson and installed 30 solar panels to help power the bottling equipment. The sisters founded their company, Chia Sisters, back in 2016.

The sisters said that lots of people are keen on solar power and that they wanted to show what could be done.

The sisters told Stuff it had been a really simple process, a really cost-effective process, and was something that fitted with their business values.
