Last night was our first test on solar with a battery backup, the outage had no affect to us. Everything ran exactly as it was guaranteed to, thanks to Sean from Off-Grid Electrical - Taupo. The gas cooking, hot water & heating was able to run also.... still had TV too. Still won't get an EV car.
