Generations Developments Limited is delivering solar solutions into New Zealand’s agricultural industry, with a focus on a high energy demand sector. Dairy farms present a strong opportunity for solar adoption, with consistent daytime loads from milking, pumping, and refrigeration. Our approach combines practical on-farm understanding with systems designed to match real operating demand: maximising self-consumption and reducing energy costs. A key strength is the experience within our team. Jake Yaxley has achieved sales of over $50 million in solar projects within 18 months. Jake has operated in both US and Canadian markets as well as New Zealand. Generations has launched a flagship project in the region, which cover the power use of a 60 bale rotary milking shed, 6 homes, and two irrigation systems. Following on from this project, we have launched similar initiatives on neighbouring farms.
