Golden Solar BIPV recently completed the installation of grid-connected solar glass shading on a residential property in Strowan, Christchurch. The project demonstrates the seamless integration of renewable energy solutions into the home environment, providing functional and aesthetic benefits.
This 2.4kW solar glass shade system was designed as part of a patio cover, offering a practical solution that combines energy generation with outdoor comfort. The 20 solar glass panels used in this project not only provide shading but also generate electricity, supplying clean energy to the household.
