NZQA Level 4 micro-credential (10 credits) endorsed by SEANZ.

Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) Systems are becoming a frequently requested option on many homes and in larger, commercial applications. It is essential that electrical workers involved with these systems fully understand their operating theory and safety requirements in order to both design and install safe and effective systems as well as fault-find and maintain existing systems.

EWRB (Endorsed Mains Parallel Generation Systems)

To become an Electrician, Electrical Engineer or Electrical Inspector (endorsed Mains Parallel Generation Systems) you must have:
Held registration as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer or Electrical Inspector with the EWRB in New Zealand for a period of not less than 2 years
Gained both of the following micro-credentials:
Grid Connected PV Systems: Design & Installation Level 4
Grid Connected Battery Storage Systems: Design & Installation Level 4

Course Structure:

Approx 100 hours of online learning
Three-day practical course
Online exam and design task to be completed after practical course

Course Cost:

$678 incl GST (NZ Citizens and Permanent Residents)
$200 incl GST (e-textbook with unlimited access)
