SEANZ Launches New Membership Application Policy for BBM’s and DiY sellers
This policy updates relates only to businesses that sell PV/BESS products directly to end consumers as DIY kits or parts thereof. This may include SME’s selling only online, online and from a showroom and big box movers (BBM’s) for both the grid connected and off grid markets. SEANZ has sought support from Energy Safety given the potential risk and danger it presents to human life, if the technology is not installed to standard by a suitably qualified professional and or the tech does not meet NZ standards, and or the correct processes have not been followed ie: DG Application approval.
