Solarconstruct Ltd - Delivering 1MW of Rural Ground Mount Solar Across Multiple Farm Sites
Solarconstruct was engaged to support the delivery of six ground mount solar installations across operational farms in the Hauraki Plains, Waikato. The projects ranged from 72kW to 144kW systems, totalling approximately 1MW of installed solar capacity.
Working alongside an established industry partner, our scope included remediation of previously completed works, piling, mechanical, and panel installation across all sites using the Antai ground mount system.
The projects were delivered across active farming operations, so a big part of the job was working in and around day-to-day farm activities, site access, and changing conditions. With multiple rural sites, tight timeframes, and mixed weather throughout the programme, flexibility and practical problem solving were key.
After mobilising to site, Solarconstruct helped bring the remaining projects back on programme, while ensuring all systems were installed within the required tolerances and engineering requirements.
The projects were completed safely, to a high standard, and in close collaboration with both the main contractor and the farm managers on site.
