Transpower Transmission Alternatives engagement process: consultation paper
Transpower are consultating to seek your feedback on ways we can adapt their existing information and investigations process to better incorporate the opportunities offered by Transmission Alternatives (TAs), including distributed generation (DG), to provide services to the grid.
The paper provides their emerging thinking, and seeks your feedback, on ways they could evolve their approach to TAs, including:
i. the principles they apply as they consider TA options alongside grid investment options;
ii. how they think TA providers can engage with them;
iii. how they propose to engage with TA providers, and
iv. your views on other potential initiatives they should consider.
