Project overview:
The West Wind wind farm features 62 turbines situated on rugged terrain close to Makara (Wellington). These turbines have the capability to produce a maximum of 143 MW of electricity, sufficient to supply power to 100,000 homes each year. Operating at an impressive 90% generation rate, these industrious turbines demanded a durable and dependable solution.
