The solar industry in New Zealand is dominated by honest and reliable companies that deliver great products and services to kiwi households and businesses.
Unfortunately, from time to time there are disreputable operators, SEANZ takes a very dim view of their behaviour and does not tolerate such behaviour amongst our membership. Fair Go's investigation into one such company prompted them to publish this video with their top tips for those considering solar and point everyone to our website:

The SEANZ Solar Optimiser has been independently created to help consumers understand more about solar electricity and how they can maximise their savings. The Optimiser takes you step-by-step through important questions specific to your household or business. These will help you optimise a system for your requirements and to understand the main factors that impact the savings you can make. - Most importantly, we strongly recommend only using a SEANZ member. Members can be found and contacted through our Professionals Directory. It ensures you will be dealing with a reputable company that is bound by our Code of Conduct. and that you have recourse through our complaints process should anyone be dissatisfied with their service or product.
