AssetSolar Ltd - First Anker Solix X1 for NZ
As soon as the Anker Solix X1 was approved for New Zealand, we knew we had to install one immediately—this installation included two units. After working closely with Anker to ensure the software was correctly configured for New Zealand conditions, the system was ready to go.
Our customer, Dan, was looking for a system that didn’t resemble a fridge but could effortlessly power his household. We recommended the X1, and after doing his own research, Dan was keen to proceed. We’re grateful to Dan for taking a punt on a new brand entering the New Zealand market—our confidence in Anker has been well placed, and the system has delivered exactly as expected.
System configuration:
30 × Trina 440W solar panels
2 × Anker Solix X1 three-phase units
30kWh total battery storage
Since installation, Dan’s reliance on the grid has been significantly reduced—he hasn’t drawn from the grid at all. Running two X1 units in parallel has also allowed for the option to increase kW input, delivering excellent performance and flexibility.
AssetSolar is now the authorised X1 retailer for New Zealand and has successfully installed over eight X1 systems nationwide.
